Maintaining our social connection with you is very important so are exploring ways how we can use platforms to connect with you digitally. 


Movement members will still have access to regular check in calls and we will be in contact directly about movement related opportunities.

LISTENING WORKS BY FAMILY ACTION

  

Listening Works

Listening Works is a national support line for Care Leavers, provided by Family Action.   A team of trained volunteers cover the line between 6pm – Midnight, seven days a week and respond to calls, texts and web chat messages. Volunteers are supported during their shift by a staff supervisor who is always on hand to provide additional support or guidance. 

The service offers care leavers

· A listening ear

· A friendly voice

· A chance to talk to someone who won’t judge you

· Signposting to useful resources – what support is out there and how to get it

Messages can be left out of hours. Those in crisis who need to talk to someone urgently can contact the crisis line to get in touch with a trained professional.
